With this addition, Tata Play Binge continues to raise the bar on premium streaming content by bringing a world-class catalogue from one of the most trusted international content houses—BBC Studios.
According to the press note shared by Tata Play Binge, the BBC Player will now be available across multiple platforms including mobile devices, desktops, laptops, tablets, Smart TVs, the Binge+ set-top box and the official Tata Play Binge website. This integration brings with it a sweeping range of genres—from intense dramas and hilarious comedies to inspiring lifestyle shows and captivating factual programming. It reinforces Tata Play Binge’s ongoing effort to become India’s go-to destination for aggregated OTT viewing under a single subscription and seamless interface.
BBC Player’s India launch via Tata Play Binge will feature iconic titles like ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Luther’, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Top Gear’, alongside family-friendly content such as ‘Mr. Bean’, ‘The Great British Bake Off’, ‘JoJo’ and ‘Gran Gran’, and ‘Andy’s Aquatic Adventures’. Documentaries like ‘Planet Earth III’ and cooking favourites featuring Nigella Lawson and Jamie Oliver are also part of the launch slate—making it a holistic entertainment offering suitable for all age groups and preferences.
Commenting on the development, Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer, Tata Play, said, “This partnership underscores our commitment to bringing the best of global content to our viewers, all in one place.
