The much-anticipated trailer of ‘Odela 2’ has finally dropped, and fans can’t stop talking about Tamannaah Bhatia’s intense new avatar, PTI reported from Mumbai.
The sequel to the 2022 Telugu thriller ‘Odela Railway Station’ promises a gripping story packed with suspense, action, and emotional depth — and Tamannaah seems to be at the heart of it.
In ‘Odela 2’, Tamannaah plays the role of an IPS officer tasked with solving a series of mysterious events in the village of Odela. The trailer teases high-octane action sequences, emotional confrontations, and an eerie atmosphere that sets the tone for a thrilling ride. Sporting a fierce, commanding look, Tamannaah’s character breaks away from her previous glam roles, showcasing her versatility as an actor.
Directed by Ashok Teja, ‘Odela 2’ builds upon the rural mystery and folklore that made the first film a cult hit. The sequel dives deeper into the legends surrounding the village and the supernatural elements that haunt its people.
The trailer has already sparked excitement across social media, with fans praising Tamannaah’s powerful screen presence and the film’s gritty visuals. The film also stars Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, and a strong supporting cast, ensuring a layered narrative.
‘Odela 2’ is produced under the banner of D Mad Studios, with Sampath Nandi backing the project as the producer. The film is slated for release later this year, though the official release date is yet to be announced.
Given the buzz around the trailer, ‘Odela 2’ could very well be one of the most talked-about thrillers in Telugu cinema this year.
