Star Plus is all set to unveil its new emotionally rich drama ‘Tu Dhadkan Mein Dil’, a heartfelt journey of love, longing, and the search for familial connection.
Produced by the renowned Swastik Productions, the show is slated to premiere on June 23, 2025, and will air every Monday to Friday at 7pm. Viewers can also stream the show digitally on JioHotstar.
Set against the backdrop of human bonds and silent yearnings, ‘Tu Dhadkan Mein Dil’ revolves around the story of a spirited young girl, Dil, portrayed by Aardhya Patel, who is in search of her estranged father — a journey she believes could reunite her family and bring her mother back.
Her life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Raghav Kumar, a reclusive rockstar played by Saurabh Raj Jain, who has turned his back on the world after enduring deep emotional scars.
The storyline delves into the power of love, particularly a child’s unshaken faith in finding the family she’s never had. It celebrates those invisible threads that tie hearts together, even in absence, and how love often finds us when we need it the most.
In a recently released promo, little Dil is seen innocently chatting with a stray cat — sharing her food and dreams with it — a moving moment that captures her simplicity and silent hope. Her wish is pure: to be part of a family, to be loved by a father she’s never met, and to see her mother smile again. The show’s tagline captures this spirit beautifully: ‘Chhoti Si Dil’, ‘Badi Si Manzil’.
Speaking about his role, actor Saurabh Raj Jain shared, “I’m truly grateful to be part of Tu Dhadkan Mein Dil, a show that brings together the creative vision of Swastik Productions to tell a story that’s both powerful and showcases the strong bonds in any relationship. As an actor, it’s rare to find a role that challenges you emotionally and pushes you to give your best every single day. I believe this show will touch hearts and create a sentimental bond with audiences in very special ways.”
Aardhya Patel, who plays the titular role of Dil, reflected on her experience, saying, “I think Dil’s superpower is love. She doesn’t know the whole story, but she knows what her heart wants, and that’s what makes her so special. I love playing Dil in Swastik Productions’s Tu Dhadkan Mein Dil, because she’s a lot like me; she just wants everyone to be happy. Even when things don’t go according to plan, giving up isn’t an option. Dil believes love can fix things and believes in magic, but not the kind with wands — the kind that comes from love.”
As ‘Tu Dhadkan Mein Dil’ gears up for its much-anticipated launch, viewers are set to embark on an emotional rollercoaster — one filled with laughter, longing, heartbreak, and hope.
So, as Dil takes her first steps on this poignant quest for family and belonging, one question lingers: Kya Dil ko milega apne pita ka pyaar aur parivaar ka saath?
