Swastik has announced the expansion of its digital leadership team with two key appointments. Jitendra Joshi has been appointed as the Head of Digital Monetisation and Brand Partnerships, while Smita Roy takes on the role of Head – Digital Operations.
According to a press release, Jitendra Joshi, Head of Digital Monetisation and Brand Partnerships, Joshi will focus on driving content monetization through strategic partnerships and ad revenue initiatives. He brings over 17 years of experience in media and advertising sales, having worked on high-profile TV properties such as Kaun Banega Crorepati, The Kapil Sharma Show, and Indian Idol. His most recent role was at Sony Pictures Networks (CulverMax Entertainment) as the leader of Sony MAX 2. Joshi’s expertise includes managing diverse genres and building top-tier teams.
Along with Smita Roy, as Head – Digital Operations, will be responsible for expanding Swastik’s digital presence and enhancing content absorption. She has over 17 years of experience in banking, media, and entertainment, with previous roles at J.P. Morgan Chase, CNBC TV18, Qyuki Digital Media, Eros Now, and Hungama Digital. Roy’s experience spans corporate events, brand solutions, and content syndication.

Both Jitendra Joshi and Smita Roy will be based in Mumbai and report directly to Siddharth Kumar Tewary. Their appointments are effective immediately.
