Sunny Deol’s upcoming crime thriller, ‘Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak’, has unveiled its teaser on the actor’s birthday, offering a glimpse of him in an intense new avatar. The film explores corruption within the medical system through a story of personal loss, investigation, mystery and action, inspired by real events.

Sunny Deol also shared the teaser on social media with the message, “They thought it was his end. For Suryaa, it was only the beginning,” alongside a Hindi message urging audiences to stay alert and stand up against wrongdoing.

Following the response to the film’s motion poster, which drew attention to Sunny’s rugged appearance and intense screen presence, the teaser offers a closer look at the world of ‘Suryaa’ and the mystery at its centre.

The teaser opens with a deeply personal loss that appears to shape the protagonist’s journey. As the story unfolds, what begins as a personal struggle gradually points towards a larger conspiracy linked to the medical system. With the phrases “Inspired by unbelievable true events” and “shocking truth of our medical system”, the film sets the stage for an investigation into a disturbing reality.

Sunny Deol takes on a role that goes beyond his familiar action-hero image, bringing together grief, vulnerability and determination. As his character begins questioning what others have accepted, his search for answers brings him face-to-face with powerful forces determined to keep the truth hidden.

The teaser features medical documents, hospital visuals, syringes, violence and confrontations, building suspense while keeping the central mystery under wraps. Ravi Kishan also makes an appearance, while Pragya Jaiswal is seen as the story’s emotional and dramatic dimensions begin to emerge.

Speaking about Sunny Deol’s character, director M. Padmakumar said, “For Suryaa, we wanted to show Sunny sir in a space that audiences have not experienced him in before. His character is carrying enormous pain from his past, but it is that very pain that pushes him towards the truth. The teaser begins with something deeply personal and gradually opens the door to a much larger and disturbing reality within the medical system.”

The director also highlighted the actor’s restrained performance, vulnerability and intensity, explaining that while action and confrontations remain important to the film, its central strength lies in understanding the man behind them and the reasons he refuses to stop asking questions.

The film’s tagline, ‘Ant Se Aarambh Tak’, meaning “from the end to the beginning”, reflects the protagonist’s journey, in which an apparent ending becomes the starting point of a much larger investigation.

The film features Sunny Deol, Ravi Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Tanushree Chakraborty, Manish Wadhwa, Tinu Anand, Virti Vaghani, Jisshu Sengupta, Khalid Siddiqui, Anoop Trivedi and Rohit Tiwari.

Directed by M. Padmakumar, ‘Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak’ is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hemmant Mukut and Lokesh Mukut under the MM Moviez banner. Zee Music Company is presenting the film’s music.

The crime thriller is scheduled to release in cinemas on November 20, 2026.
