Dentsu has announced the appointment of industry veteran Sunil Lulla as the consultant advisor for India.
As a consultant advisor, he will work closely with, and report to, Peter Huijboom, interim chief executive officer, Dentsu India, to focus on driving business growth and activation in the market while the company continues to search for the right candidate to lead the Dentsu India business.
Lulla starts on April 4 and will work with the business until Dentsu India hires a permanent CEO.
He has also worked as the group CEO of Balaji Telefilms, and CEO of the Broadcast Audience Research Council of India (BARC).
Lulla will partner with key members of the India leadership team to capitalize on the opportunities delivered through Dentsu India’s rapid transformation to realize Dentsu’s global vision of being the world’s most integrated network by 2024.
He will also work on ensuring the competitiveness of Dentsu India’s capabilities in a fast-paced, evolving marketplace.
