Star Sports has secured the exclusive television media rights for the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023, set to take place in Sri Lanka from July 30 to August 21.
The broadcasting rights cover India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, and the MENA region, including the UAE.
Star Sports, known for its extensive sports coverage, will bring the thrilling T20 cricket action of the LPL to a wider audience.
The tournament will feature prominent international players like Babar Azam, Shakib Al Hasan, and David Miller, along with local stars.
Five teams—Colombo Strikers, Dambulla Aura, Galle Titans, Jaffna Kings, and B-Love Kandy—will compete for the coveted LPL title.
