Stanley Kubrick’s estate has announced a new documentary centered on the 1980 horror classic, ‘The Shining’.
‘Shine On – The Forgotten Shining Location’, the documentary delves into the lesser-known aspects of the film‘s production.
The documentary, certified by the Stanley Kubrick Film Archive and family estate, offers an intimate look at the making of ‘The Shining’, featuring the great filmmaker’s daughter, Katharina Kubrick. Renowned actor Michael Sheen lends his voice as the narrator, adding a touch of gravitas to the narrative, PTI reported.
To commemorate Stanley Kubrick’s birthday, ‘Shine On – The Forgotten Shining Location’ will premiere on the official Stanley Kubrick YouTube channel on July 26. This release offers a fitting tribute to the legendary filmmaker, celebrating his enduring legacy and the timeless impact of ‘The Shining’.
