Sony Entertainment Television is taking its recently launched reality game show ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ a step further by inviting viewers to become a part of the celebration.
Hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal, the show has announced the launch of the ‘Ghar Ki Superstar Contest’, giving audiences an opportunity to engage directly with the programme while recognizing the everyday women who inspire their families and communities.
According to a Sony Entertainment Television press release, the contest will go live from June 1, 2026, and will be integrated into the daily telecast of ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki’ Superstar. The initiative aims to extend the spirit of the show beyond the studio, encouraging viewers to participate from their homes while rewarding them with exciting prizes.
As part of the contest, audiences will be required to watch the show closely and answer a simple question based on events or moments featured in the episode. Participants can enter by scanning the QR code displayed during the telecast or by visiting the Sony LIV Assist WhatsApp page. Viewers need to send “TUM HO NAA” or “SUPERSTAR” on WhatsApp, answer the daily question correctly, and become eligible for daily rewards as well as a weekly bumper prize.
The contest aligns with the core theme of ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’, which shines a spotlight on women whose contributions often go unnoticed despite being the backbone of their households. Through inspiring stories and emotional journeys, the show celebrates women who manage responsibilities, nurture families, and overcome challenges with resilience and determination.
Speaking about the initiative, host Rajeev Khandelwal said that interacting with participants on the show has been a deeply rewarding experience. He noted that while the programme highlights several inspiring women on screen, there are countless others watching from home whose efforts deserve equal recognition.
“Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to meet so many Ghar Ki Superstars and hear so many incredible stories from them. But like them, countless more women are sitting behind screens, at home, who deserve to be equally celebrated. The Ghar Ki Superstar Contest is our way of extending the stage beyond the studio and making viewers feel appreciated and included in this journey. That, for me, is the true spirit of the show,” Rajeev said.
Since its launch, ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ has focused on honouring the unsung heroes of Indian households, offering them a platform to share their stories and talents. The new contest aims to deepen audience engagement while staying true to the show’s message of appreciation, recognition, and empowerment.
Viewers can watch ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ every day on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, and participate in the ‘Ghar Ki Superstar Contest’ starting June 1, 2026.
