In a significant move within India’s entertainment landscape, Sony Music Entertainment India and Maddock Films have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing the synergy between film and music projects.
This partnership marks a pivotal moment for both companies as they unite to produce a diverse array of music ventures, spanning film soundtracks and independent pop projects featuring top-tier Indian talent, the Sony Music said in a press release.
Key initiatives under this alliance include creating soundtracks for prominent Hindi films such as ‘Chhava’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, with music composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman.
Additionally, projects like ‘Diler’ featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan, ‘Ikkis’ starring Agastya Nanda with music by Sachin-Jigar, and sequels like ‘Luka Chhupi 2’ are slated to feature prominently in this collaboration. Other notable films include ‘Sector 36’ starring Vikrant Massey, ‘Sarvagunn Sampan’ featuring Vaani Kapoor, and ‘Rumi Ki Sharafat’ starring Radhika Madan.
