Sony BBC Earth premieres the second season of its popular wildlife series ‘Dynasties’ with the theme ‘Legacy Must Live On’, following the phenomenal success of the first season.
With a compelling narrative, ‘Dynasties II’ promises to up the adventure factor over the first installment.
The show aims to provide new insights into the secret lives of some of the most charismatic animal species as they struggle to provide for their families against all odds. It’s a grand visual spectacle, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, that resounds with the message that family is power.
The six-part series delves deep into the intricate social structures, behaviors, and relationships that define the existence of various animal dynasties. ‘Dynasties II’ features unexpected, dramatic, and heartwarming stories about iconic favorites like elephants and cheetahs, as well as stories about some unsung heroes of the animal kingdom like pumas and hyenas.
‘Dynasties II’ takes viewers on a visual tour of the world, from the frozen Andes of Patagonia to the plains of Zambia to the sprawling grasslands in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro.
To generate buzz for the premiere of Dynasties II, the channel collaborated with an Indian a cappella group to create a song about legacy living on. The song is supported by a-cappella animal sounds of all the series’ legendary animals and is entirely produced without the use of instruments.
Furthermore, the channel is increasing engagement by hosting non-ticketed exclusive screenings of the show in key metros such as Mumbai (Nehru Science Centre), Delhi (India Habitat Centre), and Chennai (Dakshina Chitra).
