Bollywood’s action-packed sequel ‘Singham Again’, directed by Rohit Shetty, has made a roaring entry at the box office, raking in over Rs 170 crore within its first week in India.
Released on Diwali, November 1, the film marks the third installment in the popular Singham franchise, starring Ajay Devgan alongside a stellar cast including Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Ravi Kishan, and Jackie Shroff.
The film made a strong start, reportedly earning Rs 43.5 crore on its opening day alone. ‘Singham Again’ continued its momentum with Rs 42.5 crore on the second day and Rs 35.75 crore on the third, collectively setting a high record for its Diwali weekend.
Subsequent days saw the movie generating Rs 18 crore on day four, Rs 14 crore on day five, Rs 10.5 crore on day six, and Rs 8.66 crore on day seven, according to reports from Saccanilk.com.
The dynamic ensemble and high-octane action sequences have contributed to the film’s widespread appeal, resonating with audiences across age groups.
‘Singham Again’ has not only drawn crowds back to theaters but has also cemented its place as one of the top-grossing films in recent times.
