Business reality show ‘Shark Tank India’ is returning with its sixth season, and the makers have launched a new campaign to encourage entrepreneurs to focus on building meaningful businesses instead of depending only on startup jargon and buzzwords.
According to a PTI report, the new campaign, titled ‘#DontBeATota’, revolves around a parrot character that believes repeating popular startup terms is enough to impress investors. Through this campaign, the makers aim to highlight the importance of having a strong business model, clear vision and practical execution while building a startup.
Registrations for ‘Shark Tank India‘ Season 6 are currently open on Sony LIV, giving aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their ideas and pitch their businesses to the panel of Sharks. Selected founders will get a chance to seek investment, mentorship and guidance from experienced investors.
The upcoming season will continue the show’s format, where entrepreneurs from different industries present their startups in front of the Sharks and negotiate potential deals. Over the previous seasons, the show has featured businesses from various sectors, including technology, food, healthcare, lifestyle and consumer products.
With Season 6, the makers aim to continue supporting India’s growing startup ecosystem by providing a platform for emerging entrepreneurs to present innovative ideas and attract potential investments.
