The highly anticipated fourth season of the business reality television series ‘Shark Tank India’ has officially begun filming, promising to bring forth innovative ideas and lucrative deals that could shape the future of startups in India.
This season introduces fresh faces as hosts, with Sahiba Bali and Ashish Solanki taking the reins. The shooting for the first episode has kicked off, featuring a lineup of esteemed sharks, including:
• Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of People Group)
• Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt Lifestyle)
• Namita Thapar (Executive Director at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited)
• Peyush Bansal (Co-Founder and CEO of Lenskart)
• Ritesh Agarwal (Founder and Group CEO of OYO)
Since its inception, Shark Tank India has served as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their business ideas. This year’s campaign, titled “Sirf Dream Job Nahi, Apne Dream Idea Ke Peeche Bhaagega India” (Not Just a Dream Job, India Will Chase Its Dream Idea), will spotlight passionate entrepreneurs and dreamers, allowing them to pitch their best ideas to potential investors.
The show is the Indian franchise of the American series Shark Tank, where entrepreneurs make presentations to a panel of investors, referred to as sharks, who decide whether to invest in their companies.
• Season 1 aired on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television from December 20, 2021, to February 4, 2022, followed by a special Gateway to Shark Tank India episode on February 11, 2022.
• Season 2 ran from January 2, 2023, to March 10, 2023, introducing Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder of CarDekho group, as a new shark, with Rahul Dua hosting that season.
In a recent social media post, Anupam Mittal teased fans about the upcoming applications for season 4, expressing excitement and encouraging entrepreneurs to seize the opportunity. His post read, “Yeh duniya mittal di. Aur jald hi aapki bhi… coz a li’l told me S4 applications are starting very soon.” This teaser has sparked excitement among Shark Tank India enthusiasts.
The fourth season of Shark Tank India will soon be available for streaming on Sony LIV, continuing its mission to empower and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in India.
