Samsung Electronics has partnered with Netflix to launch an exclusive ‘Stranger Things’ theme and wallpaper collection for Samsung Galaxy users, timed with the release of the final season of the globally popular series. The limited-time collection is available from January 12 across 186 countries and can be downloaded at no additional cost via the Galaxy Store by downloading or launching the Netflix app.
The announcement, shared as part of a press release, follows the conclusion of ‘Stranger Things’, a series that first premiered in 2016 and went on to become one of Netflix’s most watched and culturally influential shows worldwide. With the release of Season 5 Part 1 on November 27, 2025, the series topped charts in 91 countries and clocked 59.6 million views within its first five days. It also made history as the first Netflix title to place all five seasons simultaneously in the Global Top 10, holding that position for five consecutive weeks. All episodes from the final season are now streaming globally.
Samsung’s special collection includes one ‘Stranger Things’-themed interface and five wallpapers inspired by Season 5, designed to let fans personalise their devices with imagery drawn from the show’s universe. The visuals feature iconic characters and locations, including the town of Hawkins and the eerie Upside Down, bringing elements of the series directly to Galaxy screens.
The collaboration builds on a long-standing partnership between Samsung and Netflix, which has previously delivered themed experiences linked to major releases, including ‘Stranger Things Season 4’ and the film ‘KPop Demon Hunters’. By extending the partnership for the show’s finale, the two brands aim to deepen fan engagement beyond the screen and into everyday digital experiences.
The ‘Stranger Things’ theme is supported on select Galaxy smartphones running Android OS versions 15 and 16, while the wallpapers are available on Galaxy devices operating on Android OS version 8 or later. The collection will remain available until February 22, with availability varying by device model and subject to change or withdrawal.
