India Today Group’s Tak Network has expanded its digital news footprint with the launch of Tak 360, a FAST (free ad-supported television) news channel aimed at viewers consuming content across connected and digital platforms. The new channel has been designed to cater to the rising demand for real-time, multi-genre news among audiences who are increasingly shifting to connected devices for information and updates.
According to a press release issued by the India Today Group, Tak 360 is anchored in the philosophy of ‘गली से ग्लोब तक’, blending hyperlocal reporting with national and global perspectives. The channel offers round-the-clock coverage across a wide range of genres including politics, business, crime, culture, sports, fitness, and wellness, while maintaining the editorial depth and credibility that the group is known for.

With Tak 360, we are taking that legacy into the connected TV era. As audiences increasingly shift to connected platforms, Tak 360 strengthens our position as the country’s most future-ready digital news network,” she added.
Tak 360 will stream live across the India Today Group’s extensive connected and digital ecosystem, including News Tak on YouTube and the web, Aaj Tak’s website and app, India Today’s website and app, as well as the group’s connected TV applications such as India Today, GNT and Aaj Tak. This wide distribution ensures seamless, always-on access for audiences in India and globally.
With a strong editorial backbone, continuous programming and a focus on balanced and inclusive reporting, Tak 360 aims to establish itself as a trusted national news destination. The channel seeks to reflect India’s diversity while redefining how fast news is consumed in the connected TV era.
