Superstar Salman Khan on Sunday sent out 5000 food packets to frontline workers including BMC staff, medical and police personnel engaged in the fight against novel coronavirus pandemic.
In the video, Salman Khan is seen inspecting the food quality to ensure that the food is hygienic and made up to the mark.
While, Salman visited a Bandra-based restaurant, where the food was packed and sent out for delivery, to supervise the process.
Yuva Sena’s core committee member Rahul Kanal, who has been executing this activity, took to his Twitter account and shared a video of the actor from the venue.
Rahul Kanal, who is executing the activity in association with Salman, wrote,”Big thank you @AUThackeray Ji @BeingSalmanKhan bhai for making this possible as team @yuvasenabandra for reaching out to our Frontline force… means a lot when bhai comes to keep a check on the supply and motivate the team to reach out to one and all…Jai Hind !!! As per Rahul Kanal, the food donation drive will continue till May 15 at least.
Last year, the 55-year-old actor sent out food packets and ration from his Panvel farmhouse to those who were hit by the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
He had also pledged to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be seen in Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai along with Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, and Randeep Hooda.
