In a recent announcement, Snapchat India has appointed Saket Jha Saurabh to their senior leadership team, as reported by various media outlets. Saurabh, previously serving as Meta‘s Director and Head of Media Partnerships, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
With a diverse background spanning across Big Tech, digital startups, and prominent media companies in India, Saurabh has demonstrated his prowess in growing businesses and managing cross-functional teams. He has provided strategic guidance to leadership teams in the consumer tech and creator economy sectors, playing a pivotal role in fostering relationships with India’s leading TV networks, creators, public figures, and other entities during his tenure at Meta.
At Meta, Saurabh was instrumental in scaling up products such as Instagram Reels, FB Watch, and FB Ad Breaks through strategic partnerships. Prior to his role at Meta, he served as Business Head-Digital at Bloomberg, where he led monetization strategies and significantly contributed to Bloomberg’s digital growth and revenue streams.
Before his roles at Meta and Bloomberg, Saurabh held positions at Fame Digital, Network18, CNBC-TV18, and the India Today Group. He holds an MBA degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications and Brand Management from MICA Ahmedabad.
Saurabh’s appointment to Snapchat India’s senior leadership team is expected to further strengthen the platform’s position in the Indian market and drive innovative strategies for growth and engagement.
