Cricketer Rohit Sharma has called the episode featuring actors Rajpal Yadav and Kiku Sharda the best episode of ‘Family Full House’. The episode brings together two teams of comedians for a fun-filled interaction with Rohit.
According to a SET press release, Rajpal Yadav, Paritosh Tripathi, Farhad Samji and Hemant Pandey are part of one team, while Kiku Sharda, Gaurav Gera, Suresh Menon and Vrajesh Hirjee are part of the other. Rohit welcomed Rajpal and shared how excited he was when he first learnt that the actor would be joining the show.
Kiku brought back his popular character Baccha Yadav, while Rajpal entertained everyone with his humour and dance moves. Enjoying their performances, Rohit said, “Yeh best episode hai, andar se khushi ho rahi hai.”
Rohit also shared how Rajpal’s films helped him deal with disappointment after difficult days on the cricket field. He said that whenever he got out early or his team lost a match, he would return to his hotel room feeling sad and watch Rajpal’s movies. He added that after watching the films, he would wake up the next morning feeling as if nothing bad had happened the previous day.
Rohit then shared a video to show how much he enjoyed Rajpal’s comedy. The video took everyone back to 2016, when Rohit used an app to create videos featuring the actor’s dialogues. He explained that he used to make these videos while relaxing at the hotel after cricket matches, describing the clip as proof of his admiration for Rajpal’s work.
Touched by Rohit’s words, Rajpal praised the cricketer for his contribution to Indian cricket. He said that although Rohit was younger than the actors, his achievements had raised their stature in front of people around the world.
Rajpal also praised Rohit for inspiring young people and bringing pride to the country through cricket. Calling Rohit the captain of all entertainers, he spoke about how sports can improve fitness, focus and vision before wishing the cricketer well.
‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and is also available to stream on Sony LIV.
