Riddhi Chakraborty has been elevated to the position of Associate Director – Marketing at JioStar, where she will continue to lead marketing initiatives and brand-building efforts in an expanded leadership role.
Chakraborty shared the announcement through a LinkedIn post, writing, “Honoured to step into the role of Associate Director – Marketing at JioStar. Here’s to creating bigger ideas, stronger campaigns and lasting impact. Onwards and upwards.”
She has been associated with the Star network for more than four years. In 2022, she joined the erstwhile Disney Star as Assistant Brand Manager – Marketing, where she worked on brand strategy, consumer engagement and marketing initiatives across the network’s portfolio.
Following the formation of JioStar, Chakraborty was appointed Marketing Manager in November 2025. She has now been promoted to Associate Director – Marketing, reflecting her growing responsibilities within the company’s marketing leadership team.
Before joining the Star network, Chakraborty spent over six years with ABP Group as Senior Brand Executive. During her tenure, she served as the brand custodian for ‘Anandabazar’ Patrika and the group’s portfolio of Bengali magazines, contributing to brand development and audience engagement initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Regional Marketing Officer at Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India, where she was involved in the launch and marketing of Hitachi refrigerators across Eastern India. She also gained experience in corporate communications at the Confederation of Indian Industry and completed a summer internship with Hindustan Unilever.
With her elevation, Chakraborty is expected to play a larger role in strengthening JioStar’s marketing strategy and driving brand growth as the company continues to expand its presence across television and digital entertainment.
