The makers of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Ramayana’ have officially announced that the film’s trailer will be released on July 30.

According to an ANI report from Mumbai yesterday,the announcement has generated excitement among fans, who have been eagerly waiting for the first detailed look at one of the biggest mythological films ever made in India.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ features a star-studded cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita.

Kannada superstar Yash takes on the role of Ravana and is also one of the producers of the film. The cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

The film is being produced on a massive scale with world-class visual effects and is planned as a two-part cinematic saga. It is backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
