Netflix has announced that Korean filmmaker Lee Chang-dong’s upcoming film ‘Possible Love’ will premiere globally on the platform on November 6, 2026.
Before its Netflix release, the film will have a theatrical release in South Korea on September 23, followed by releases in Australia, the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland and Japan.
According to a Netflix press yesterday,the film revolves around two married couples a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary filmmaker and her husband.
Their lives become connected when the filmmaker starts documenting their story, bringing their relationships, struggles and hidden emotions to the surface.
‘Possible Love’ has already gained international attention after being selected for the Competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival and the Special Presentations section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival.
Directed by Lee Chang-dong, the film marks his first project in eight years. It stars acclaimed Korean actors including Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung and Cho Yeo-jeong. The film will be available worldwide on Netflix after its theatrical release.
