The upcoming comedy film ‘Rahu Ketu,’ starring ‘Fukrey’ duo Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, is set to arrive in theatres on January 16, 2026.
The makers announced the release date on Sunday, confirming the film’s theatrical debut early next year,PTI reported from Mumbai.
Produced by Zee Studios and BLiv, Rahu Ketu promises a blend of folklore-inspired storytelling, situational humour, and a layer of social commentary, aiming to offer audiences an entertaining yet thoughtful cinematic experience. The film is written and directed by Vipul Vig, best known for his work on Fukrey, which cemented Samrat and Sharma’s on-screen chemistry as a popular comic pairing.
The film also features Shalini Pandey in a prominent role, adding to the fresh mix of faces leading this comedy adventure. With its combination of mythology-driven themes and contemporary comedic treatment, Rahu Ketu is gearing up to be one of the early highlights of the 2026 release slate.
