In his next feature film, actor R Madhavan will play Indian inventor and engineer Gopalswamy Doraiswamy Naidu (GD Naidu).
Naidu, known as the ‘Edison of India’, is credited with developing India’s first electric motor. He made major contributions to many sectors, including mechanical, electrical and agricultural engineering.
