QYOU Media India, an integrated media company, has promoted Pankaj Rai and Ashish Kotekar to national sales roles to strengthen their sales team. Rai and Korekar will continue to report to Simran Hoon, CEO of QYOU Media India, according to the company.
Pankaj Rai’s new responsibilities include overseeing the network’s flagship Hindi channel, The Q, as well as the network’s gaming business. In addition, Ashish Kotekar will be the national sales head for the connected TV (CTV) business, which includes channels like The Q, Q Marathi, Q Kahaniyan, Q Comedistaan, and Q GameX, as well as upcoming new launches in the broadcast and digital spaces.
Pankaj and Ashish, according to Simran Hoon, CEO of QYOU Media India, have been critical in generating top-dollar revenue for the company in the face of a challenging macroeconomic environment.
In addition, as branch head for the north and east, Rai will continue to work in New Delhi in his new role and help propel integrated sales for QYOU Media India’s verticals. In addition, Kotekar will be based in Mumbai as the branch head for the west and south. In his regions, he will be in charge of integrated sales for QYOU Media India’s verticals (linear TV, connected TV (CTV), and gaming).
