Zee Entertainment Enterprises CEO Punit Goenka received remuneration of Rs 25.1 crore in FY26, a 44 percent increase from Rs 17.44 crore in the previous financial year, according to a Storyboard 18 report today.
Goenka’s remuneration in FY25 was Rs 17.44 crore. He served as Managing Director and CEO until November 18, 2024, after which he continued as the company’s CEO.
Over the past five financial years, Goenka’s remuneration stood at around Rs 41.1 crore in FY22, Rs 35.07 crore in FY23, Rs 19.71 crore in FY24, Rs 17.44 crore in FY25 and Rs 25.1 crore in FY26.
Zee’s median employee remuneration increased by 7 percent in FY26, while the average employee increment was around 7 percent.
Zee’s standalone employee base declined by 12.4 percent during FY26, falling to 3,007 employees as of March 31, 2026, from 3,434 a year earlier. The company said it focused on creating a leaner and more agile organisation during the year.
