Amazon Prime Video announced that the second season of the Australian Men’s Cricket team docuseries ‘The Test’ will premiere in early 2023.
The first season of the docuseries was a behind-the-scenes look at how one of the world’s best cricket teams, Australia, fell from grace and was forced to reclaim its title and integrity.
The second season will concentrate on the transformation from the Tim Paine and Justin Langer era and the restructuring of Australia’s Test team under Pat Cummins.
The docuseries will take spectators inside the hive mind of the Australian men’s Test team- from Paine’s resignation, the epic 4-0 Ashes series victory, Langer’s departure, and the historic tour of Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
‘The Test’ S2 is produced by Amazon Studios in collaboration with Cricket Australia and Whooshka Media.
The producers are Mish Armstrong, Adrian Brown, and Sheldon Wynne. The co-directors are Sheldon Wynne and Adrian Brown.
