HBO’s upcoming television adaptation of the Harry Potter franchise has added another notable name to its growing cast, with actor Peter Serafinowicz set to play the mischievous character Peeves the Poltergeist.

According to reports, Serafinowicz has joined the highly anticipated series in the role of Peeves, one of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’s most infamous and unpredictable residents. The character, known for creating chaos across the school through pranks and mischief, was a fan favourite in J.K. Rowling’s books but was notably absent from the original Harry Potter film series.
