A light-hearted thriller with a dash of mystery, ‘Padakkalam’ is all set to begin streaming on JioHotstar starting June 10. The film takes viewers into the world of an engineering college, where four close friends find themselves drawn into a strange and comical mystery involving a new professor on campus. What begins as suspicion soon spirals into a string of unexpected events, filled with hilarious twists and thrilling moments.
The ensemble cast also includes Sandeep Pradeep, Saaf, Arun Pradeep, Arun Ajikumar, Niranjana Anoop, Pooja Mohanraj, and Ishan Shoukath, each adding depth and colour to the vibrant narrative. The college setting, peppered with witty dialogues and quirky characters, brings to life a refreshing take on campus life mixed with a suspenseful turn of events.
Cinematographer Anu Moothedath captures the lively energy of the campus and the tension of the unfolding mystery, while editor Nidhin Raj Arol keeps the pace tight and engaging. The background score and music, composed by Rajesh Murugesan, lend the film its dynamic rhythm and emotional highs, enhancing the overall experience.
