Live Times aired a compelling new episode of its prime-time show ‘Point Blank’, bringing senior VHP leader Alok Kumar into an unfiltered conversation with Director News Deepak Chaurasia.
The discussion, according to a press release from the news channel, explored the significance of December 6 for many Hindus, the decades-long Ram Mandir movement, and wider national questions tied to demographic shifts, illegal infiltration, and religious conversions. Kumar described December 6 as a moment of renewed cultural confidence and linked the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to what he called a “historic correction” and a major shift in national consciousness.
Kumar also spoke at length about Mathura and Kashi, stating that he believes substantial historical material supports longstanding temple claims. He underlined that any progress on these matters would follow constitutional and judicial pathways. Addressing the Places of Worship Act, he called for an open national conversation, arguing that sensitive historical questions should be dealt with transparently and with participation from all communities.
The episode further delved into subjects such as demographic pressures, border infiltration, and religious conversions, with Kumar calling for structured policy attention on these issues. He characterised the Bajrang Dal as a responsible and disciplined organisation, questioned transparency in halal-linked economic processes, and reaffirmed that phrases like ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ represent national unity and should not be seen as objectionable.
Throughout the dialogue, Chaurasia steered the discussion with the show’s trademark directness, ensuring clarity and accountability on each topic.
