News18 India, the Hindi news channel of Network18, launched a print campaign on Tuesday announcing its leadership for the upcoming elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
The news channel compared its ratings in terms of reach and market share only with Aaj Tak.
The channel had a total reach of 2.04 crore people on December 8 (counting day for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh), exceeding the reach of Aaj Tak which stood at 1.68 crore.
News18 India said that it outperformed top news channels in terms of market share too.
The channel garnered 15.2 percent market share, compared with a 13.6 percent market share of Aaj Tak.
