The ABP Live Auto Awards 2022, presented by ABP Network, honored the top vehicles that were introduced or underwent significant mechanical changes in the previous year.

On December 20, 2022, the event was held at the ICAT Convention Centre in Manesar and was live-streamed on abplive.com and the ABP LIVE + Auto LIVE social media handles and YouTube channels.

The first-ever ABP Live Auto Awards, which celebrated the most innovative and revolutionary vehicles, provided an excellent platform for recognizing the best in the auto industry.

The ABP Live Auto Awards, in collaboration with Audi and PS Group, brought the entire automotive industry together under one roof, showcasing the best and brightest of the Indian automotive industry.

As per a press release, the awards were given out in 15 categories, ranging from two-wheelers to luxury cars, and were judged on a variety of criteria, including efficiency, performance, value, design, and practicality.

The awards ceremony recognized and celebrated exceptional industry innovations.

The Hyundai Tucson received the Car of the Year award, while the Maruti Grand Vitara was named the deserving winner of the ‘SUV of the Year 2022’ title. The VW Virtus was named ‘Sedan of the Year 2022,’ the Citroen C3 was named ‘Hatchback of the Year 2022,’ and the luxurious Land Rover Range Rover was named ‘Luxury Car of the Year 2022.
