Network18, a leading media conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Sanchayan Paul as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)-Designate. Paul shared his new role on his LinkedIn profile.
Paul brings with him a wealth of experience from his extensive 25-year career in human resources, having previously held key positions at major corporations such as Reliance Industries, Thomson Reuters, Eicher Consulting Services, Hutchison Essar Telecom, and Vodafone. Most recently, he served as CHRO at Modenik Lifestyle.
In addition to his corporate roles, Paul co-founded the HR-Tech platform KaryaMitr.com, with a mission to enhance the livelihoods of over 400 million blue and grey-collar workers in India by connecting them with more than 50 million employers nationwide. His vision for KaryaMitr underscores his commitment to leveraging technology for social impact, particularly in the realm of employment and workforce development.
Paul’s academic credentials include an MBA from XLRI – Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier business schools, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
