Coinciding with the spooky season, Netflix has come out with two new games. ‘Motion Twin and Evil Empire’s Dead Cells: Netflix Edition’, the iconic rogue-lite action platformer reimagined for mobile by Playdigious, is now available for members.
The streamer said the Netflix Edition includes all of the free and paid downloadable content from the original game at no extra cost. The game joins Blue Wizard Digital’s ‘Slayaway Camp 2: Netflix & Kill’, a Netflix-exclusive sequel to the original slasher puzzle game, but this time, Skullface, Slayaway Camp’s violentest killer, is trapped inside a very familiar-looking streaming service.
These games and more than 80 others are included with all Netflix memberships without ads or in-app purchases.
Dead Cells: Netflix Edition: Find secrets, take down bosses, And, if you die? Start from the bottom and reignite the fight. You’re what’s left after a botched experiment in an abandoned castle made you a pile of undead sludge. All you need to escape is someone else’s less-than-alive body and the sheer will to battle your way through a constantly changing pixel art castle full of rogue enemies and terrifying bosses.
Learn the ropes of action-packed 2D combat and platform exploration, master a variety of weapons and develop their strengths as you unravel the secrets of the dungeon, the castle and whatever lies beyond. The Netflix edition includes all of the free and paid downloadable content created for the original game, so you can experience the full scope of their escape from the first awakening.
Slayaway Camp 2: Netflix & Kill: In this sequel, you’re Skullface, a killer stuck inside a retro horror movie catalogue — solve puzzles, stalk victims and get stabby. Step into Skullface’s blood-soaked boots or choose from a murderous lineup of horror monsters like Gourd Head, the Killer Fridge and Demon Doll.
This funny tribute to ’80s horror invites you to perfect the art of the scare. Maneuver through sliding block logic puzzles, find hiding spots, collect special weapons and unleash gruesome finishers to elevate your kills and escalate your score. Rack up star ratings to unlock an expanding horror universe packed with new genres, settings, slayers and stunts.
