Streaming platform Netflix released the trailer of the family entertaining movie ‘Mimi’ on Tuesday. Starring Kriti Sanon, and veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles.
The family entertainer, which revolves around the plot of the surrogate mother in the directorial venture of Laxman Utekar.
Kriti will be seen in a new avatar, she is playing the role of a surrogate mother. Pankaj Tripathi is playing an agent who comes to Kriti with the offer of surrogacy for a foreign couple. While the trailer starts on a comic note, which soon gets on an intense note when the couple asks Mimi to abort the child. The trailer promises that Mimi is going to be high on emotional quotient.
Sharing the trailer, Kriti wrote, “#Mimi expected everything, except for this unexpected journey! Watch the glimpse of her unexpected story with your family. #MimiTrailer out now.”
Earlier, Kriti shared a teaser of the film to get her fans excited for the next. The film also stars, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak, and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles.
Mimi is Kriti Sanon’s second film with director Laxman Utekar. Earlier, they have worked together in Luka Chupi, also starring Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. It also the latest collaboration with Dinesh Vijan and Kriti Sanon after films like Raabta, Luka Chuppi, and Arjun Patiala. Even her fans also remember her striking camaraderie with Pankaj Tripathi as father-daughter in Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Mimi will premiere on Netflix and Jio Cinema on July 30.
