Netflix has announced a collaboration with the Spanish football league LaLiga to create its first sports docuseries in Spain.
The documentary series, which is currently in pre-production, will focus on the 2023-2024 La Liga competition and will premiere on Netflix worldwide next year.

“Being the star of Netflix’s first sports series in Spain is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for LaLiga to take our football beyond the fans, to share with the world the excitement of the sport we love, and for all our fans to see LaLiga from a completely different perspective,” said scar Mayo, Executive Director of LaLiga.
“At Netflix, we have always been committed to bringing must-see series and films to our members around the world,” said Director lvaro Daz. We are very proud and excited to share this project with LaLiga, which is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the excitement of one of the world’s most exciting sporting competitions firsthand.”
