The partnership marks the first time the legendary singer will actively participate in the creative process of a fiction series that delves into the intricacies of his life and unparalleled musical journey, The Variety has reported.
The currently in-development fiction will narrate the compelling story of how Julio Iglesias made history by becoming the first non-English artist to conquer the American and Asian markets.
It will showcase his evolution into a universal star, solidifying his position as one of the top five best-selling artists in the history of recorded music.
Over his illustrious 55-year career, Iglesias transcended linguistic barriers, recording and singing in 12 languages. His universal appeal has connected fans worldwide, establishing him as the first Spanish artist with songs resonating across the globe.
