Netflix has unveiled the first look of its upcoming comedy film ‘Little Brother’, starring John Cena alongside Eric Andre and Michelle Monaghan, offering audiences an early glimpse into the quirky family entertainer. The streaming platform shared a still from the film on its official Instagram handle, sparking curiosity around the project.

According to a UNI report, ‘Little Brother’ is directed by Matt Spicer, best known for Ingrid Goes West, and written by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, the writing duo behind The D-Train. The film revolves around a successful real estate agent, played by Cena, whose well-organised life takes an unexpected turn when his eccentric and long-estranged younger brother, portrayed by Andre, suddenly re-enters his world, setting off a chain of chaos and comedy.

The film is produced by David Bernad under Middle Child Pictures, along with Ruben Fleischer, and promises a blend of humour rooted in sibling dynamics and sharply observed character-driven moments. While Netflix has not yet announced a release date, the first look has already drawn attention for pairing Cena with Andre in what appears to be an offbeat comedic setup.

Meanwhile, Cena has recently closed the chapter on his legendary wrestling career. The 17-time world champion ended his more than two-decade-long run in the ring after losing to Gunther by submission at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December. Since transitioning into acting, Cena has steadily built a diverse filmography across genres.

On the acting front, he is set to appear next in the action-comedy ‘The Leading Man’, based on the comic book series by Jeremy Haun and B. Clay Moore, where he will share screen space with Kevin Hart. Cena was last seen in Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra, a film that reportedly went on to become the fourth most-watched Amazon MGM movie of all time, further cementing his growing stature in Hollywood.
