Streaming platform Netflix has renewed ‘D.P.’ for season 2 after the social issues of season 1 were burned up.
Based on the webtoon ‘D.P.’ ‘Dog’s Day’ by Kim Bo-Tong, D.P. takes on new life with director Han Jun-hee of Coin Locker Girl and Hit-and-Run Squad weaving in keen insights.
The hit drama stars Jung Hae-in, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Sung-kyun, Son Suk-ku, Cho Hyun-chul et al .are set to reprise their roles in the sophomore season as they come across different stories while tracking down fellow soldiers who have deserted their posts.
The series, which made its debut earlier in August, is also selected for The New York Times Best International Shows of 2021.
‘D.P.’ is directed by Han Jun-Hee, produced by Climax Studio and co-produced by Shotcake.
