Netflix greenlights new ‘Ghostbusters’ animated series

Netflix has officially greenlit an animated series set in the world of the beloved ‘Ghostbusters’ franchise.

The new show will be penned and executive produced by Elliott Kalan, known for his work on various acclaimed projects, PTI reported from Los Angeles.

This latest development, first hinted at in 2022, promises to capture the essence of the recent ‘Ghostbusters’ films, ensuring that it aligns with the tone and spirit of the franchise. Fans can expect the animated series to blend familiar elements of ghost-busting adventure with fresh, engaging storytelling.

The announcement marks an exciting expansion of the ‘Ghostbusters’ universe, continuing the franchise’s legacy in a new and dynamic format.
