Streaming giant Netflix has confirmed the return of several fan-favourite Indian originals, including ‘Black Warrant’, ‘The Royals’, ‘Mismatched’, and ‘Maamla Legal Hai’, all of which are set to drop brand-new seasons soon.
According to an IANS report, among the most anticipated announcements is ‘Mismatched’, which will come back with its fourth and final season. The hit coming-of-age romance starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf has built a strong fan base since its debut.
Producer Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies shared his excitement, saying, “We’re thrilled to bring Mismatched back for one last season. This show has become a true fan favorite, and the love for Dimple and Rishi has grown with every season.”
Screwvala also noted how the show has sparked meaningful conversations, inspired theories, and built a passionate fan community around the evolving relationship between the
two leads.
‘Black Warrant’, starring Zahan Kapoor, is also slated to return. Adapted from the book ‘Black Warrant: Confessions’ of a Tihar Jailer by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury, the gritty prison drama dives deep into the brutal realities of India’s prison system, offering a raw and intense viewing experience that earned critical praise in its debut season.
Meanwhile, ‘The Royals’, headlined by Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar, is gearing up for its second season, which promises more high-stakes drama, political intrigue, and unexpected twists.
Also returning is ‘Maamla Legal Hai’, a courtroom comedy that blends wit, satire, and relatable storytelling from within the Indian judicial system, promising fresh laughs and legal chaos in its next chapter.
With this diverse lineup of returning favourites, Netflix continues to double down on its investment in original Indian storytelling, ensuring a steady stream of drama, romance, crime, and comedy for audiences worldwide.
