NDTV Network has unveiled its latest initiative, ‘The Election Carnival’, aimed at promoting civic engagement and awareness in the lead-up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The NDTV ‘Election Carnival’ is a mobile studio set to traverse 34 cities spanning New Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh, covering a total distance of 4,000 kilometers, a press release from NDTV said.
This innovative platform will engage citizens on the ground, facilitating discussions and interactions to deepen their understanding of local leaders and issues pertinent to their communities. With an NDTV anchor accompanying a politician from each area, the initiative promises insightful dialogues, offering voters valuable insights into the electoral landscape.
The inaugural leg of the NDTV ‘Election Carnival’ commenced from New Delhi on April 5 in the presence of Manoj Tiwari, BJP MP from North-East Delhi, setting the stage for an enlightening journey ahead.
The ‘Carnival’ will make stops at key cities, including Ayodhya, Dehradun, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Amritsar, Srinagar, and Nashik, among others. At each destination, citizens will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, learn about local issues, and interact with their elected representatives.
