Twenty-five years after Chhattisgarh was carved out as an independent state, it finds itself standing at a crucial point—rich with achievement, yet poised for deeper transformation.

On November 21, leaders from government, industry, administration, and the cultural sector will gather in Raipur for the ‘NDTV Chhattisgarh Conclave: 25 Saal Bemisaal’, an event designed to reflect on the state’s journey and shape a clear roadmap for the years ahead.

According to an NDTV press release, the conclave will be hosted at Hotel Marriott in Raipur, bringing together key voices who have shaped Chhattisgarh’s political and developmental landscape.

The event will open with an in-depth conversation with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, setting the tone with a discussion on governance priorities, achievements over the past quarter-century, and the long-term vision for the state. Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh will also participate, offering his perspective on the state’s governance story and political evolution—from its formative years to present-day challenges and aspirations.

Further political insight will come from Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao, who will articulate the administration’s vision under the frameworks of Rajat Jayanti: Swarnim Sapne and Chhattisgarh Unlimited. Their session is expected to underline how the government plans to drive growth while preserving the state’s unique social and cultural fabric. A governance-focused discussion featuring TS Singhdeo will delve into policy delivery, reform-led administration, and the shifts required to enhance the efficiency of public systems.

Economic development will form another key pillar of the conclave. Satish Thorani, President of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries; Dr. Rajaram Tripathi, farmer-scientist and pioneer in agro-innovation; and Dr. Ila Gupta, State President of the Mahila Chamber, will discuss what it will take to build an inclusive, future-ready economic ecosystem. Their conversation will explore entrepreneurship, ease of doing business, and the strategic priorities necessary to strengthen Chhattisgarh’s economic foundation.

The event will also spotlight the cultural soul of the state. The conclave will feature sessions with actor-director Anuj Sharma, historian and researcher Ramakant Mishra, Padma Shri awardee and renowned Gond artist Madvi Satyendra from Bastar, and celebrated folk singer Mamta Chandrakar.
