MY FM, the radio division of the Dainik Bhaskar Group, has expanded its programming lineup with the launch of ‘Babu Bhaiya’, a new humour-based content property designed to bring laughter and light-hearted entertainment to listeners throughout the day.
The daily comic capsule introduces audiences to the character of ‘Babu Bhaiya’, whose witty observations and relatable take on everyday situations aim to resonate with listeners across the country. Through humorous commentary on common experiences ranging from family interactions and workplace situations to traffic frustrations and daily routines, the character offers a comic perspective on modern Indian life.
With a blend of sharp humour and grounded storytelling, ‘Babu Bhaiya’ reflects the quirks, contradictions, and amusing realities that people encounter in their day-to-day lives. The content has been designed to provide short bursts of entertainment while maintaining a strong connection with listeners through familiar and relatable themes.
The launch reinforces MY FM’s focus on creating engaging localised content that strengthens audience connection beyond traditional music programming. By introducing character-driven entertainment formats, the network aims to enhance listener engagement and provide refreshing content throughout the broadcast day.
‘Babu Bhaiya’ will air daily across the MY FM network, with one capsule scheduled every hour.
