The upcoming animated film ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath‘ is set to release in cinemas across India on July 17, the makers have announced. The film will hit theatres a day after the Jagannath Rath Yatra, making its release especially significant for devotees of Lord Jagannath.
According to an UNI report, the film will be released in Hindi, Odia, and Telugu on more than 300 screens across the country through Cinépolis. The makers are aiming to reach audiences across different regions with the multilingual release.
Directed by Shripad Warkhedkar, the film is produced by Elle Animations Pvt. Ltd. The story and dialogues have been written by Pallavi Sharma, while the music has been composed by Aviral Kumar. According to the makers, ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ is a family friendly animated film that presents the story of Lord Jagannath in an engaging way.
Along with its nationwide theatrical release, the film will also be released in selected international markets, allowing audiences outside India to watch it as well.
