Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff brought nostalgia and laughter to the latest episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show S4’, where the actor fondly recalled her first memory of meeting Shroff and Anil Kapoor on the sets of the 1986 film ‘Karma’.
According to an IANS report, the episode saw Madhuri revisiting her early days in the industry, sharing a light-hearted anecdote about shooting a song for ‘Karma’. She recalled that both Jackie and Anil were present on the set and jokingly remembered how the two actors kept glancing at her during the shoot, making the moment unforgettable.
Adding to the fun, host Kapil Sharma teased Shroff about the incident, asking why he would pause his own rehearsal to watch her dance. Living up to his trademark ‘bhidu’ style, Shroff responded with humour, saying that sometimes one has to forget oneself in the moment. Alongside the playful banter, he also delivered a message about environmental responsibility, encouraging people to plant trees and respect nature.
The episode also featured Madhuri in a witty mood as she joked that after doing so many romantic films, she is now capable of romancing “even a patthar” (stone), reinforcing her enduring image as Bollywood’s romance icon. The conversation was interspersed with comic segments and lively exchanges that celebrated the spirit of 1990s Hindi cinema.
