Kapil Sharma, the king of comedy, is all set to return to the big screen with the much-anticipated sequel of his hit Bollywood debut, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’.
The comedian-turned-actor surprised fans by unveiling the first look poster of ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’, creating a buzz among moviegoers, PTI reported from Mumbai.
Taking to Instagram, Kapil shared a captivating poster featuring himself as a groom, dressed in a traditional beige sherwani and sehra. His expression, filled with curiosity and surprise, hints at the comedy of errors awaiting audiences. Standing beside him is a mystery bride in a vibrant blue lehenga, her face concealed under a ghunghat, adding an element of suspense to the plot. The poster, which also featured an “Eid Mubarak” greeting, instantly grabbed the attention of fans and industry insiders alike.
The film, directed by Anukalp Goswami, will see Kapil once again stepping into a role that blends humor and confusion in equal measure. The original film, released in 2015 and directed by Abbas-Mustan, was a runaway hit at the box office, revolving around a man unknowingly married to three women while being in love with another. The sequel is expected to take the laughter quotient even higher.
Alongside Kapil, actor Manjot Singh, known for his roles in Fukrey and Dream Girl, is also part of the cast, further elevating the expectations for the comedy-drama. Produced by Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain under the Venus banner, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ has already begun shooting in Mumbai, with fans eagerly awaiting more updates.
While Kapil Sharma continues to dominate television with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, his return to films is something his audience has long been looking forward to. With this sequel, he is set to entertain fans in a grand way once again.
