Live Times tops ATS charts in six key states, clocks 59+ minutes viewer engagement

Live Times

In a landmark achievement for Indian news broadcasting, Live Times, India’s first global multicast news hub, has clinched the top spot in Average Time Spent (ATS) across six major Hindi-speaking markets.

According to BARC Week 23 data (HH Universe), the channel notched an impressive 1.07 rating in HSM markets and clocked over 59 minutes of ATS in states like Bihar/Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra/Goa (target group: 15-21 years).

According to a Live Times press release, this data signals a major shift in viewer preferences and cements the channel’s status as a rising force in the national media space. While ratings typically measure reach, ATS captures the depth of engagement—making it a much more accurate reflection of content relevance and resonance. That viewers are staying with Live Times for nearly an hour underscores its success in building deep audience loyalty through consistent, fact-driven journalism.

What’s even more striking is that this milestone has been reached by a channel that’s less than a year old. Launched on August 23, 2024, Live Times is competing and now outperforming legacy players in some of the most competitive Hindi-speaking news markets. In a space often criticised for noise, drama, and diluted facts, Live Times has adopted a clear editorial line—offering truthful, insightful, and agenda-free journalism. That approach, it seems, is gaining significant traction among viewers who are turning to the channel for serious news that respects their time and intelligence.

“This journey has always been about the viewer,” said Dilip Kumar Singh, Founder, Live Times. “Live Times was born out of a vision to create India’s first global multicast news hub—free from noise, bias, and sensationalism. The fact that audiences are staying with us for over 59 minutes in a single sitting speaks volumes. This validation across six key states is not just a win for us, it’s a message that honest journalism still has an eager audience in India.”

The channel attributes its rapid growth to a unique blend of technology and editorial integrity. Broadcasting from a first-of-its-kind state-of-the-art multicast hub, Live Times combines high-end infrastructure with partnerships involving global tech leaders and premium content providers. The result is a streamlined, visually rich, and editorially credible news product that’s resonating across demographics—especially among younger audiences seeking authenticity.

Rooted in the Indian ethos of ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’, Live Times continues its mission to present the truth in its most undiluted form. This milestone in ATS engagement is not just a metric of success—it’s an affirmation that in a landscape clouded by theatrics, viewers are now placing their trust in channels that let facts lead the story.
