Kritika Kamra is set to take on the lead role in the upcoming film ‘Dumbbell’, which will mark the directorial debut of writer Pushaan Mukherjee.
According to a PTI report, the project is currently in pre-production and is expected to go on floors in June. While the makers are yet to reveal details about the storyline, the film has already generated curiosity due to the nature of Kamra’s role and the fresh creative collaboration behind it.
Sources close to the production revealed that Kritika’s character in the film will be both physically and emotionally demanding. The role is also being described as creatively refreshing for the actor, who has recently been receiving appreciation for her performances across digital platforms.
