The 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) continues to captivate audiences, achieving a remarkable 24 percent increase in viewership in its fourth week. The show’s original airings surged from 16 GRPs to 20 GRPs, demonstrating its strong hold on Indian television.
The beloved non-fiction show also saw an 18 percent growth in ratings, averaging 1.1 TVR in Week 36. Notably, the recent Olympics-special episode featuring young shooting champion Manu Bhaker alongside bronze-medalist Aman Sehrawat garnered significant attention, achieving a rating of 1.3 TVR, the channel said in a press statement.
Another episode that struck a chord with viewers was the inspiring story of Banti Vadiva, from the Adivasi community of Asadi in Madhya Pradesh. This heartwarming episode also secured a rating of 1.3 TVR, highlighting the show’s ability to connect deeply with its audience.
Throughout the season, KBC has been celebrating the achievements of remarkable individuals, ranging from global sports champions like Manu Bhaker and Aman Sehrawat to selfless healthcare pioneers like Drs. Ajay and Rani Bang, who have made significant contributions in remote areas of India.
